Anne-Marie is especially noted for her transcriptions of keyboard, lute and pedal harp repertoire for the Irish harp, and also for the unique levering techniques which she continues to develop on this instrument. She has given numerous premieres of many pieces for Irish harp, some commissioned especially for her. A prolific recording artist, she has released several CDs, including Just So Bach,Harping Bach to Carolan, The Jig’s Up, My Lagan Love, Just So Bach and Double Strung with Cormac De Barra with whom she has performed widely.
She has also recorded with The Chieftains in Abbey Road Studios, London and has performed internationally with Moya Brennan of Clannad. She appears regularly with actor and storyteller Nuala Hayes, with whom she has toured the Deis-funded production, ‘The Wilder Wisdom of Auld Ones’ accompanied by music written and arranged by Anne-Marie. As a musician experienced in performing at state events, she was called upon to play during the state visit of Queen Elizabeth II to Ireland, and has performed for President Robinson, President MacAleese, and President Michael D. Higgins. An international concert artist on both Irish and pedal harp, she is regularly invited to give lecture recitals, workshops and masterclasses at international conferences and festivals.
